Don’t Be Afraid To Wait

If you are in high school, you're probably feeling the pressure to decide what you're going to do with your life and where you're going to learn how to do it! There are so many options, so many paths from which to choose, it feels overwhelming at times, doesn’t it?
If you don’t know what you want to study, then think about what you are good at, enjoy doing and think you would still enjoy doing many years from now. If you get to Senior year and still don’t have a firm idea, don’t get nervous and just apply to the school your friends are going to.
College is too expensive to just jump in for fun. The debt you'll wrack up in those four or more years of school will stay with you like a cloud over your head for many years. Don’t commit without knowing it’s right for you.
When you find the career for you, then is the time to match your career with the appropriate school. To save more money, take your general education classes at your local community college or test out of them if you can.
Even if you start college a while after your friends, it will be better to start later and graduate with the major you began with than jump in before you’re ready and change majors several times. You’ll be glad that you waited and made the right choice for your life.

Thanks for this. It really helped me out!
