Fave Films: Sound of Music, Gattaca, Phantom of the Opera...

1) The Sound of Music
A Classic that I grew up watching and have always enjoyed.

2) Gattaca
Explores what could happen with genetic programming in the future in a creative and interesting way.

3) Phantom of the Opera
I love the musical and the movie is very good too! I find the relationship between Christine and the Phantom captivating.

4) Moulin Rouge
A fun movie that has awesome music. I also love some of the costumes.

5) IRobot
This movie makes me wonder if the integration of robots into society is sooner than I thought.

6) Boy in the Striped Pajamas
A very sad movie about a boy with a father who is a Nazi General. He is jealous of the people in concentration camps because he doesn't fully understand what is happening there.

7) Pearl Harbor
I love the relationship between Danny and Rafe and how their friendship never ends no matter what happens between them.

8) To Kill a Mockingbird
A movie that deals with prejudice and how a lawyer will defend a black man even though in the time period he lives in he is shunned for doing so. I like how the movie is told from Scout's (the lawyer’s daughter) perspective instead of an adult.
